What is a CNC relief heightmap?
A heightmap is a grayscale image where brightness is depth, white is high, black is low. Your CAM software reads that depth map and cuts a true 3D relief, no hand modeling required. It is the same idea as a depth map or a bump map, just aimed at a router instead of a game engine.
Every model here is a 16-bit grayscale PNG heightmap, the format your CAM software actually wants. Import directly into VCarve, Carveco, Aspire, or any tool that supports bitmap relief imports.
